Mother’s Day Fundraisig Celebration

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Syrian Cultural Garden,

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our recent Syrian Cultural Garden Gala.

The evening included a presentation, presented by Wael Khoury, President of the Syrian Cultural Garden. We shared plans for future community involvement, volunteer initiatives, cultural programming, and expanding opportunities for young adults and families to engage with the Garden.

Adnan Mourany, Chair of the Board, also addressed attendees and reflected on the history and vision behind the founding of the Syrian Cultural Garden.

Jamil Dayeh, Project Manager for the restoration effort, provided attendees with a brief update on the restoration timeline and ongoing progress.

Mrs. Haiat Moussa also addressed the audience in Arabic, sharing reflections on the importance of preserving our heritage and supporting the Garden’s mission.

Tony Bshara spoke about the launch and vision of the new Young Adults Committee, encouraging younger generations to become more involved in the Syrian Cultural Garden community and helping ensure that the Garden remains active and meaningful for years to come.
