More Than Just a Garden

The Syrian Cultural Garden, dedicated in 2011, is the first garden in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens to represent an Arab country.

Designed to reflect thousands of years of history, it showcases iconic features of Syrian architecture, including the Palmyra Triumph Arch replica and the renowned Damascene Fountain. We invite you to explore this tribute to Syrian civilization

Where Memory Takes Root:

A Syrian Tale in Cleveland

It is a cultural space, an open museum that brings together the past and the present, connecting the Syrian community with their motherland and introducing the Syrian history to the American society.

Dedicated in 2011, this garden is a passionate project designed by graduates from Damascus University. We celebrate thousands of years of Syrian history — from ancient civilizations to the modern era,  keeping our heritage alive, one step at a time.

Here are my roots, here is my heart, here is my language. How can I explain? Is there any explanation for love?
